The Outstanding Blogger Award🌷

Hello everyone! Yes, as you can see by the title, it’s once again time to embrace all that love the book blogging community is throwing at me! 🥰

Thank you so much, I am so shocked! I was nominated by 4 amazing bloggers 😭 but so as to not make this a long post, I will answer the questions of 2 of them today and 2 in another post.

A thousand thank you to Riddhi @ Whispering Stories and Alicia @ The Colorful Bibliophile! 😍 I’ve linked their website names to one of their posts I know you will enjoy.

Riddhi is a super dedicated blogger and her blogging voice is just so authentic… she also hosts the weekly meme Just Some Bibliophilic Things which I have been enjoying! Alicia is extremely relatable and she creates cards on her shop – they look heavenly! Please go show some to love to both of them!

Onto the award!

  • At the end of 2020, every blog that ping-backs the creator’s original post will be entered to win the 2020 Outstanding Blogger Award!

🌷 Riddhi: What is the one thing you will never do?

If you didn’t know… Hi! I am Cherelle, an obsessed bibliophile. Reading is my lifeline. I don’t want to end my life so I will NEVER stop reading.

🌷 Alicia: Good news! You can now communicate with animals, aside from your pets what animal are you talking to first?

Squids! They are seriously the coolest ever. Some can change colour, some create light, they can spray ink, and are super smart. And there are so many other freaky facts about them, go ask Google.

🌷 Riddhi: One book you will protect with your life?

Finding Serendipity! It is such an endearing book about stories and family… it deserves to impact the lives are more people!

🌷 Alicia: You can make any ONE fictional character (books, movies, video game, etc) come to life, who are you choosing?

🌷 Riddhi: The most tragic moment of your life? (If you do not mind sharing)

Probably when a loved one passes on….

🌷 Alicia: If you were a God/ Goddess what would you be Patron of?

Ooh okay I think I need to do my intro again haha… books of course, come on! (apologies for boring answers that are all the same)

🌷Riddhi: One thing you enjoyed about staying at home for the past few months?

(I could technically uses books as an answer again but I think you guys are tired of that.)

I am really indebted to The Shows Must Go On for streaming musicals! As I live in Southeast Asia, it is very rare to be able to catch musicals live and thus I have NEVER seen one of my favourite musicals. (just listened to the soundtrack). Thanks to Andrew Lloyd Webber, I could finally see Phantom of the Opera and Cats and Joseph and the Technicolour Coat….

🌷 Alicia: What 3 songs would you use in a soundtrack to your life?

“On my Own” (Les Mis) – because most of my true friends and love interests are all fictional characters…

“The Last Night of The World” (Miss Saigon) – Though this is a love song, but it deeply resonates with how I try to live life to the fullest with the people I care about

“Satisfied” (Hamilton) – all the expectations and dreams are those I can relate deeply to

🌷 Riddhi: The one food that you will eat, even on a full stomach?

🌷 Alicia: A new species of animal has been discovered, what does it look like and what is it called?

Well well well…it would be a crossbreed between a potato and a dog.

🌷 Riddhi: One book that you can reread forever and not get bored?

This book is just timeless. A new favourite, I’m so glad it lived up to the hype for me.

🌷 Alicia: You’ve found an enchanted doorway that can take you anywhere. Where are you going?

The German Alps… the iconic location of where Maria sings about the hills… I LOVE THE SOUND OF MUSIC

🌷 Riddhi: Which post that you have written is your favourite? Share the link as well.

🌷 Alicia: Space Travel is now available to everyone & the first Space Rollercoaster has been invented. Would you ride it?

I loved those questions, thank you once again Riddhi and Alicia!

🌷My questions for you guys:

  • What 3 GIFs would you use to sum up the last book you’ve read? 📖
  • If you woke up in the body of (insert any fictional character ya like) what would you do? 👀
  • What is your favourite word? 💬
  • Why did the chicken cross the road? (I’m expecting a creative answer yeah) 🐔
  • What is something you will uninvent and why? 🧪
  • What is the silliest thing you have ever done (because of a dare if applicable)?  🤡
  • If everyone was like a food item and had an ingredient label, what would yours contain? 🍟

And that’s it! Thank you all for reading… All the blog names above are linked to posts of theirs get yourself ready for some quality content when you access the links!

If you were a god/goddess what would you be a patron of? What are your favourite words?

      1. Agree…wish I had a dog of my own to try this experiment on. But for now I’ll just be feeding the neighborhood dogs to see if it works.😂
Your welcome!! Time does fly by real quick, except maybe in school🤪
Sorry, I hadn’t noticed, my hand must have slipped on the ‘r’ some how.

I’m so glad you loved Addie LaRue too!! Ahh that’s a tough one (MINI SPOILERS AHEAD)… one one hand Henry and Addie together was just plain sweet stuff, but Luc and Addie definitely felt more thrilling to read about haha… what about you? 😄

      1. thank you, lol😂
EXACTLY! Henry and Addie were the sugar ones, but Luc and Addie were totally different, like pepper or something! I liked both of them, but I’m more of Luc person, I was kinda sad during the exact end, TBH!

Addie!! I have seen it everywhere around the book community and I have been so close to buying but I am restraining myself and waiting for my hold at the library…unless I get it for my birthday! Decisions! Decisions!! 😫

    Anyways…again congratulations!💙

  5. Congrats on the award!! I love your answers hahah squids are criminally underrated sea creatures. Like dolphins, whales, and sharks get too much street cred when the squids deserve better. And I totally agree with you on the ice cream. I’m really glad you liked Addie LaRue!! I loved it too ❤

    1. Ooh nice nice! Oh, I’m not sure if the musical is still there as it was only up for 72 hours quite a while back… but they have streamed it twice (and maybe will do it a third time soon!) and left a lot of music videos which you can enjoy! Thanks for your comment, Ali.

  11. I’ve been loving The Show Must Go On too, such a great thing letting people experience theatre when they can’t go.
(and if I were a deity I’d like to be a patron of textiles or something related to crochet, knitting and hand crafts like that!)
